The Executive Charters Experience on Joy Rider

Let me set the scene for you guys, you arrive at the Patterson Lakes / Carrum launching way public boat ramps and Jetties Mel Ref:97 E7 just off Mcleod Road and there waiting for you on the jetty is the Joy Rider and her professional yet easy going crew to greet you and get you prepped for the most exhilarating fishing experience of your life. After a quick rundown on all safety equipment we depart and cruise down the Patterson River at 5 knots heading out to the entrance of Port Philip Bay.
While you guys are given the executive feel with snack platters and drinks your skipper manoeuvres around the small recreational boats, and your deckhand Jimmy is preparing the Bait and tackle for a fast hitting session of fishing. The Shimano gear, upgraded in September 2008, is polished up and ready to get you that fresh catch.
As we pass under the Nepean Highway bridge and the water begins to deepen the throttle slowly increases and the suspense builds.

Once out a little further the Skipper tells you to hold on and the throttles get opened up. Without delay you feel 4.5 tones of fiberglass cat being lifted out of the water and getting you to your destination quicker and safer than ever imagined. Your job is to simply hold on and enjoy the ride hence the name "Joy Rider"
Once anchored and the burley is dropped the action begins. Feel the weight of that big 1on your 7ft rod with your Shimano reel drag set just right to bring it inn. Your deckhand and skipper ready to assist you with landing your catch and all your other needs. Photos and action clip videos are also taken so you can show off your catch when back on land even after you have eaten it.
If bag limits are reached (depending on the time of year, this is done on most occasions) we move you to a different location to target different species. Gourmet food and drinks are brought out for your enjoyment throughout the charter in order to refuel you and up keep the executive feel.
Once we reach the end of our day we cruise back to Patterson Lakes where we give you your fish to take home and enjoy. Photos and videos of your charter will be available for you free of charge upon request via email.
