Arriving via car
Make your way to Mcleod Rd Patterson Lakes or Carrum and look for the large CFA station (Fire Brigade station) which is situated on the corner of Launching Way and McLeod Rd. When you get to it turn down Launching way and drive all the way to the end where you will see a bait/tackle/shop/Cafe with a couple of petrol bousers. On most occasions you can drive strait past this and over a couple of speed humps which will then lead you to the Launching Way car park which is situated on the Patterson River's edge. Please note you do not have to pay to enter this car park unless you are towing a boat.
During the very busy peak snapper season NOV-Jan you may be asked to park on the grass areas just before the cafe and then walk down to the rivers edge as the boat ramp parking may be full.
We usually dock on the jetty near boat ramp 2 or 3 which is to your right 100m when you get down there. If you have any queries or concerns re our pick up location on your arrival just call the skipper Arch on 0438532181 and he will be happy to assist you further.
Arriving via public transport
If arriving via Train you will need to get to Carrum train station 40 minutes before charter departure. Carrum train station is after Bonbeach station and before Seaford station when coming from the city. When approaching Carrum train station you will pass over a bridge which runs over the Patterson River. It's important that you notice this as you will have to walk 100metres from the station to get back to the rivers edge. You then head East along a gravel path along the river approx 200metres where you will get to the Launching Way boat ramps and Jettys where we will be waiting for you.
