Arch is a 2nd generation fisherman and captain who has been fishing in Port Phillip Bay for 25 years and has been passed on 40 years of local knowledge from his father who was also a long liner fisherman and captain.
Arch holds both a Coxwain and MED3 qualification which have both been obtained through Marine Safety Victoria, he is trained and experienced in using all safety equipment on board and is a Level 3 First Aider. As well as all this he is one of the Skippers at the Port of Melbourne who helps keep our Ports safe by driving the Security Patrol Boat "Tim Muir".
Wherever there is water Arch always seems to find the fish and strives in making your fishing experience the best.
Arch will always put a great deal of study and planning into each charter so you are not just going out on a potluck fishing charter. The tides and phase of the moon will play a great part in where he will take you to get your catch. Furthermore Arch will use old school transit marks and charts as well as new age equipment like GPS, Radar and Depth sounder to confirm you are on the spot.
No grumpy skipper or crew on this charter as Arch
and his crew all have an easy going nature ready to
do whatever it takes to ensure everyone catches and
has fresh fish on the dinner table.
If you are having troubles catching them we will be
more than happy to help catch them for you.
Whether your up for a serious fishing session or
just having a social time on the water, Normy is the
one to have around.
With over 35years of fishing experience and a sound
knowledge in many areas Norm will go beyond his call
of duty to make sure you have a great day out on the
water.
He's a keen Bream fisherman in his own time but when
aboard our vessel his specialty is hooking snapper
and ensuring a laugh with a joke or two.
Normy will bait you up and give you all the advice
required to successfully land your catch, and if you
ask nicely he may even give you some secret advice
on how to prepare and cook it.
Thanks Normy for being a valuable member of the team
and doing it for the love of fishing and being on
the water.
When it comes to having a laugh, being easy going and sharing a fishing story or two, Jimmy is the man.
He has 25 years fishing experience in which he has also skippered his own boat. Most of his experience has been in Port Phillip Bay and is a valued member of our team. It is a proven fact that a good deckhand is what makes a good captain and Jimmy has proven that time and time again.
He is very experienced in all fishing tackle, equipment and has a wide range of knowledge and expertise in various rigs and techniques.
Furthermore he is always happy to show you how to rig something up or fix a tangle while still smiling and having a joke.
He will bait your hooks in an attractive manner to give you the best chance at catching that big snapper.
Luca grew up with a family who loves fishing; he caught his first fish in the bay when he was six and has been hooked ever since.
He dreams, talks and goes fishing every chance he gets. He's always willing to try a new rig, bait or anything it takes to catch you a fish and loves sharing his expertise with customers.
Luca has been with Executives Charters since May 2008, he has an intimate knowledge of the vessel, the tackle and all aspects of fishing the bay. He loves meeting new people and having a yarn.
Whether baiting a hook, casting a rod or showing you how to hook'em, all you got to do is ask.
Campbell is a self motivated person who loves the outdoors and is always ready to help and be of assistance in any way possible. He is a valuable member of the team as he has the ability to multi task and ensure the safety of the passengers and vessel at all times. Campbells qualifications stretch far beyond a deckhand as he is a boat builder by trade and also holds a commercial coxswains qualification which has been obtained via Marine Safety Victoria. You will find when Campbell is around you don't get a chance to ask for help as he is usually already on the job.
